With how many of our customers are jumping on the Tempranillo train, I wanted to bring you a high altitude, intriguing new style! Paul & Remy are doing high quality wines and this is their flagship.
They have a long legacy of family farming and tradition in their small part of Spain.
This makes for a very expressive and thoughtful wine!
On the nose I get hints of farmland, leather, cured meats, bursting blackberries, ripe Bing cherries and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate these notes resonate and compliment the roundness, the complexity, and ultimately the dry, tannic finish.
When I sip this I crave braised short ribs, pork chops, or spicy paella.
